Best Time to Book Flights and Hotels to Dubai
Dubai is the rare destination where the cheapest flights and the cheapest hotels line up in the same months — summer — but that is also when the heat makes daytime sightseeing impossible. The real decision is whether you optimise for price or for weather.
Book 6 to 10 weeks ahead for the winter high season, and 3 to 5 weeks ahead for summer. Dubai is served by so many carriers that fares stay competitive relatively close to departure.
Hotels are the bigger cost. Book December–February stays 3 to 4 months out; summer rooms can be booked two weeks ahead at 60% off winter rates.
June through August for both flights and hotels, and late April to May if you still want tolerable weather.
Christmas, New Year and the weeks around major exhibitions push hotel rates two to three times higher. Ramadan is cheap but changes restaurant and nightlife hours.
